Give Thanks:

  • Thankful for the support of the Presbytery and Rev. Michael and Sandy Kelly. I appreciate their help, wisdom and intercession on behalf of my family these 5 years, and for our church plant, Jubilee. It is difficult planting a church, let alone a cross cultural church in its early phases.
  • I am thankful for the Kelly’s faithful service and just plain and simple love for the Davisons and the leaders that assist me in building up Jubilee.

Trust God:

  • We still have a need for prayer for unity as a body as well as our growth for new people. The Indonesian mission of our church continues to be prayed for as we care for students leaving for Indonesia for the summer. We also are hoping to reach new students for Christ–who are new to this country. Also please prayer for the country of Indonesia that is running an election. The frontrunner in the country is known to be very corrupt, and this could affect our brothers and sisters and their families should he win. Pray that the Lord will protect the vulnerable from the wicked.
  • Finally, pray that the mission to our local neighborhood, the Central District, will see the results of the Gospel preached and souls coming to saving faith. There has been a lot of gang violence in the neighborhood and we are organizing fun activities for youth, (women’s dance ministry, block parties and box car races), that we hope can provide a vehicle to build local relationships and activities for kids. Pray for boldness and conversions.

Prayer Requests:

  • Lord, may your kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven. Lord, we want to see your glory shine through the saints at Jubilee, in their various individual callings and relationships. Give us faith to continue doing good, to continue building our fellowship internally, and reaching out to friends, families, enemies and neighbors in our midst. May you be glorified in us O Lord, we trust you for the increase. Amen.
