Northwest Church Planting Network, Seattle, WA – Rev. Michael and Sandra Kelly

Give Thanks:

  • We are very thankful for our planters who have remained faithful to the Scriptures and stalwart in their missions all year. They have all seen God work and bring encouragements a well as trials. The projects advance and the men and women on the ground grow in grace. It is an honor to serve them.
  • We continue to see God provide financially. Give thanks with us for his kindness through the generosity of his people.
  • Finally, we are thankful that two new churches will join our board in 2015. God is building support in the Northwest.

Trust God:

  • In 2015 we will launch our Apprentice and Intern Ministry. AIM is designed to help us cultivate leadership over extended timeline with an emphasis on preparing planters by exposure to ministry in the NW under the mentorship of our planters and pastors.
  • During 2015 also continue to pursue the development of regional academic and pastoral skill training platforms that will help us keep men and women from our own churches in the area while they prepare for ministry. This initiative will take considerable resources and partnership with educational institutions outside the Northwest.
  • 2015 marks a definitive transition of emphasis towards regional funding. We will continue to see support across the country, but our ministry plan requires that we move to full regional support by the beginning of 2020.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please pray for the Belleview-Kirkland area of Seattle. This important suburban region on the east side of the Seattle metropolitan area is a critical strategic target for our work. Pray that God would raise up a godly, gifted leader with a heart for this important effort.
