Coram Deo Presbyterian Church, Spokane, WA – Rev. Kyle and Gretchen Parker

Friday, 19 June 2015

Give Thanks:

  • I am encouraged by the response of people within Coram Deo toward the opportunity of moving worship to Sunday mornings while recognizing the logistic challenges we will face in doing so. We recently heard our application for using a school on the South Hill of Spokane was approved the first church in quite a long time allowed in which allows us starting in mid-September to move worship to Sunday mornings.
  • Matthew and Callie Bostrom a recent graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary Charlotte is currently raising funds to join Coram Deo Presbyterian Church in the fall as an assistant pastor.

Trust God:

  • We are moving to Sunday mornings — might seem like a strange concern but the logistic challenges, large increase in financial outlay for equipment, storage, and rent provided some sleepless nights in the last couple of weeks.

Prayer Requests:

  • Thanks for your support and care for Coram Deo Spokane. We are encouraged in letting you know the months of prayer regarding a move to Sunday morning were answered on June 13 when the school district approved our application to meet in a South Hill school. Please continue to pray for wisdom and insight as we face the logistic challenges and increased financial pressure of meeting in a school.
  • We are excited to announce you to Matt and Callie Bostrom as the assistant pastor of Coram Deo Presbyterian Church. Matt recently completed his Master of Divinity at Reformed Theological Seminary in Charlotte and began support raising June 1!
