Kenai Peninsula, Alaska

Kenai Mission, Kenai Peninsula, Alaska – Rev. Andrew and Amy Allen

Tuesday, 17 May 2016

Give Thanks:

  • New worship location – a place to belong and grow, onsite storage, set routines.
  • New schedule – 2×2 (two bible studies, two worship services a month)
  • New Home – Amy and I have “moved in” to our new home

Trust God:

  • Early great weather is giving me insight on what summer months might look like – even as families will be regularly gone enjoying Alaska.
  • Pray that we will regularly gain new families … and that even in “weeks of few” we will know the blessing of serving God faithfully.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray that we will approach every new soul as an opportunity to love our neighbor rightly – and not simply as an opportunity to gain a new family into our church. Help us to reflect Gods glory, love and grace in the busy summer months ahead.
  • If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get back the same amount. But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. Lk 6:32–36.
